AFGHANISTAN HURTS IN MY SOUL…


“AFGHANISTAN HURTS IN MY SOUL…” was the name of the excursion held for Classes 9 “A”, 10, 6 “B” at the Gymnasium Museum on the eve of the Day of Remembrance of the Soldiers-Internationalists. During the tour, the students got acquainted with the exhibits of the museum exposition, watched the video film "Chronicle of the War in Afghanistan". On February 15,the students of grades 6 “A” and 5 “B” honored the memory of the fallen soldiers-internationalists with a minute of silence "Memorial lamp", and the representatives of the teaching staff of the gymnasium took part in the district rally and laid flowers at the memorial sign "Echo of War".

The tradition of having a meeting with soldiers- internationalist in the gymnasium has been established since 1988, it first happened when our countrymen who returned from Afghanistan. This year, on February 16, the students of grades 11 “A” and 7 “A” got a meeting with Yuri Petrovich Piletsky, the chairman of the district organization of the public association “Belarusian Union of Veterans of the War in Afghanistan”.
