Afghanistan hurts in my soul
In our museum there is information about another war. This is the Afghan war, its Memorial Day is February 15th. On this day, every year we pay tribute to the courage of the participants of those events. It is in the memory of our contemporaries; the parents and grandparents of our students were its participants.

The medal was awarded to Petr Eduardovich Korsak on July 17, 1989 in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic Afghanistan.

Materials about V.G. Rychagov (KP 669).
- Vladimir Gennadievich Rychagov served in the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan as deputy chief of the first frontier post of the airborne assault group. Killed on August 4, 1988 in the line of duty.
