On the occasion of the 520th anniversary of the town of Smorgon, our museum hosted a series of virtual historical tours “Happy Anniversary, Our Hometown!” The schoolchildren traced the history of the town from the day of its foundation to the present day, recalled significant events for the town and its famous residents. The tour was complemented by the exhibition with interesting and rare materials on the history of Smorgon. And on the town’s birthday, October 2, the fifth-graders took part in the quest “How many of us?” –where they learned that there are as many as 57 bears of different species in our museum and received bears’ favorite treat.
